Angel knew something was wrong. She could feel it in her body. The way that her tummy squeezed up into a tight ball every time her grandfather would ask her into the garden with him. It wasn't her imagination. She knew something wasn't right.
Angel is the story of a young girl's experience of sexual abuse. Through the eyes of Angel, we come to understand how she makes sense of what's happening around her and the reactions of those closest to her.
