Annals of Child Development: v. 7

The 7th volume in a series which considers evaluative and summary reviews of major topics in child development. Disciplines represented include psychology, education, sociology, anthropology and pediatrics. The aim of this series is to provide scholarly updates of principal areas of research and theory rather than summaries of individual research programmes. The collected papers in volume 7 cover a wide range of developmental issues and include an update on the literature on children's perception of orientation, chapters on the role of early gesturing in the process of normal language acquisition, the development of mental imagery and a survey of development in twins.
