Anneliese

A life filled with twists and turns, Anneliese Doyle can never seem to catch a break.

Born an only child, Anneliese thinks she can finally escape her strict, controlling mother when she becomes engaged to the love of her life. Her world is turned upside down after receiving the devastating news that her fianc has died from the Spanish flu after returning from fighting for his country in WWI. Anneliese does her duty during the pandemic but as soon as the flu and the war is over, she is ready to act like the free-spirited woman she is. It is the roaring twenties and a good time to let loose, which leads her to some intriguing consequences.
