Answered Prayers

In 1992, God had placed a vision in a grandmother's heart that if I would come to Johnson Street and teach the Bible to children His Word would supernaturally change their lives. She did not know when she asked me teach that one little boy in the first Bible Club would name the ministry Keeping Hope Alive, and it would become a non-profit Christian organization. The ministry would travel the world teaching children in orphanages and in the slums of Kenya about God's love, seeing over five-thousand children give their hearts to Jesus and touched by God's Presence. She did not know that when children start to pray that murders stop, parents get off drugs, and families are restored. The vision of one grandmother, Virginia Barbee, changed the world for Jesus.
