Governed by fierce pride, and utter shame, Jacqueline Coby was forced to become a self-made outcast.

Her protected life on a Cattle Property in The Outback of Australia was shattered, plucked away by implausible trauma, and ultimate disaster, to leave her in tatters.

Torn apart, and tortured by guilt she struggles with the deep feelings of remorse that consumed her as she gropes blindly at heartbreaking decisions that now faced her but would ultimately define her fate and change her life forever.

It was an unthinkable task to forsake her home, family, and friends, and the loves she would leave behind.

Dusk turning to darkness, an eeri feeling as it closed around her. Jacqueline sensed her return to the Property was later than usual, but led her stallion Sailor to his stable, and reached for the lamp. Close at hand the sound of a match striking shattered the complete stillness of the night, and echoed loudly in her ear.
