Around the Corner and Down the Street

This book honors all the children who are having to stay home from school, who are not allowed to see or hug their grandparents or other relatives, and who are not allowed to have play dates with their good friends. They are all heroes for being so brave!But even though you are not able to do all these things, you are still able to use all five of your senses! You can still watch your favorite TV program, or play your favorite video game, using your sense of sight. You are still able to listen to music or hear your Mom calling you for dinner, using your sense of hearing. You are still able to smell dinner cooking in the kitchen, or a batch of cookies baking in the oven, using your sense of smell. You are still able to taste those delicious cookies, or bowl of ice cream, or spaghetti dinner, using your sense of taste. And, you are still able to get hugs and kisses from those who love you at home, using your sense of touch!!
