As I Write Dying

A light goes out, it's pitch black. You hear a shuffling in the dark. You scramble to find a light switch, you flick it on, nothing. The power is out through the entire house. You hear a laugh, something grabs you. Screaming soon echos in your ears, it's your scream. A pain spreads through your chest. The light turns on, your white shirt is now a crimson stain, as your life spills out onto the floor.
