In the Kingdom of Isidia, Homeland of the High Elves naturally blessed with Healing magic, the Widowed Queen has kept a tight leash on her only daughter and heir-until she is forced to realise that Evalina is Isidia's only hope against a new enemy.

With no experience in the world outside her castle, Evalina enlists the help of the well-travelled Thanatos, the Dark Elven Prince of Osiria-where all are cursed with the power of Death. 

Together, the two embark on a perilous journey into the wider land of Carynthia; all the while, Evalina is plagued by strange and horrific nightmares.

Can Evalina and Thanatos see past their peoples' turbulent histories and work together to defeat a common enemy?
