ASMv28 Bede Manuscripts

For all who study Anglo-Saxon literature, history, and culture, this series-created by a distinguished international team of scholars-provides access to original sources.The project aims to produce completefacsimiles ofaboutfivehundred manuscripts containing Old English. Each issuetypicallycontainseight to ten manuscripts, with an average total of 900-1000 folios (1800-2000 pages) onDVD. Each issue includes a full scholarly guide to the manuscripts, whichare clearly identified by name, library,shelfmark, Ker/Gneussnumbers, and short title. The accompanying book of scholarly descriptions details manuscript history,annotates special features, andprovides important codicological information, including collation, detailed contents, and selected bibliography.
