This work about the assessment of student satisfaction in the 6th Academic Region in Angola, is practically 1/6 of my doctoral thesis that has the same theme: Assessment of student satisfaction: forn an excellence management in a higher education institution 6th Academic Region - Angola. the objective is to provide the managers of the different HEIs with a set of information that helps them to design strategies for managing their institutions and improving the quality of their services.
Initially, it was prepared following the rules of a short article, in which we sought, in a simplified way, to present, in the first part, a literature review with the main issues of higher education faced in higher education institutions in several African countries, and especially in Angola.
In second part, with a set of data collected in 2018 in some higher education institutions in the city of Lubango, Angola, based on a series of statistical analysis, we were able to determine the factors that most influence students when choosing the educational institution, to know if these factors are the same considering a developed country and an undeveloped country such as Angola. And if these factors are variables depending on sociodemographic characteristics. Is also allowed us to know which factors affect students satisfaction and wich are the most important, as well as the differentiating characteristics that can be used by institutions to attract more students.
Therefore, in this work, only the basic questions and analysis were presented to answer them. And our doctoral thesis is more complete, with some much more detailed questions.
