At the Edge of Eternity

Pastor Yves Décary and his wife Lise are members of Quebec's French Mission of The Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches of Canada. Yves has been planting churches since November 1993. He was a member and deacon of the Église Baptiste Évangélique d'Ahuntsic in Montreal from 1981 to 1985. He was also a servant-in-training, elder, and pastor at the Église Baptiste Évangélique Emmanuel de l'Ouest de l'Île in the West Island of Montreal from 1985 to 1996. From 1996 to 2001, he was the founding pastor of the Église Baptiste Évangélique de Vaudreuil. As for Lise, she puts her whole heart into helping her husband, despite her delicate health and three dialysis sessions a week. They have three wonderful children: Éric (33 years old), who attends the Église Évangélique Baptiste de Sorel-Tracy; Simon Manuel (30), who attends the Église chrétienne du Plateau in Gatineau with his wife Anne and two children, Juliette (4) and Léo (1); and Catherine Anne (22).
