Ariana Matthews, an aspiring young artist in Wilmington, North Carolina, is happy spending her time at the beach with her friends. When Captain Scott Williamson, USMC, unexpectedly joins their group, his presence triggers childhood memories Ariana kept locked away for nearly a decade. As Ariana's world starts to unravel, she relies on her faith to help her as she struggles with her ability to forgive and her desire to love. Meanwhile, Scott does what he can to prove his friendship and loyalty despite opposition from Ariana. When the past catches up with them, Ariana's life hangs in the balance.
