A Heart Worth Calling, is the fourth story of the Preston Family and Kane Alberson. Barkley finally accepts the call to the ministry. Becoming shepherd to the people of Sunny Vale Church he finds there's turmoil and the church is under the grip of the man who donated the land for it to be built. Barkley is threatened by letters saying his reputation will be destroyed by pictures, a teenage girl makes up her mind she will abort her baby as Barkley tries to reason with her and the same family they've been warring has moved back to the neighborhood, Barkley's life is not easy. How to resolve all the problems has become his responsibility and he has no training in being a minister.
