Be Not Alone

"Rasie's story is one of strength, resilience, courage and determination. The strength and resilience to live through adversity. The courage to revisit trauma and the determination to heal, no matter the odds. The author allows readers to feel her love of home, and experience her many moments of joy growing up as a child in a close-knit community in her hometown of Kingtom, Sierra Leone, pre-Civil War. For the next chapter of her life, Rasie takes readers through her times of hurt, anguish, fear and pain, but she does so with so much thought, reminders to readers to take good care of ourselves.
