Be Still and Know

An incredible hunch is something you know is a message from a higher power-from God, the Holy Spirit, the universe, the source, or however you refer to your higher power. Sometimes incredible hunches are a series of hunches-maybe because you weren't listening the first time or wouldn't believe the first or the second hunch.

The hunch that put me on the track to writing this book was about the subconscious mind. In fact, I thought that's where hunches came from. Then as I started researching and writing, more hunches came to me. I began to realize the hunches I was receiving fit together like pieces of a puzzle. When together, the puzzle became an incredible hunch.

I always thought my mind and subconscious mind existed only in my brain and that my mind-inside my brain-was really my essence. But Be Still and Know has taught me that I'm not my brain; I am my spirit. And about the time I thought I was done writing, I learned something else: I have an "intelligent" heart (it's not just a blood pump), which is part of the process of creating incredible hunches.
