Beautiful Lies vs. The Ugly Truth

So many times, we are bombarded, even overtaken by the cares of life and the cares of others. We sometimes lose sight of who we are and whose we are. We can even lose ourselves when we allow our focus to shift from the spiritual man that we are, to the carnal man that wants to rule us. When going through storms of life it's easy to sink into a place doubt and despair. It's in those times that we let our spiritual guards down and the enemy can deceive us. This is why it's so important to know his devices so that we can be equipped to resist him.

This book has shined the light on one of Satan's chief devices, his lies. He wants us bogged down so deep in the beautiful lies that we find ourselves bound by them. But He who the Son has set free is free indeed. We are free in God because of Jesus. The ugly truth about ourselves and our situation is no surprise to God. He knew us before we knew ourselves and He still chooses to love us and use us for His good pleasure. He is the master builder and as with every builder, He will place within you and around you, all the tools, materials, and the foundation you need to be successful. We must rely on Him to escape this bondage and embrace His truth.
