Becky Jane

Becky heard the news but it didn't process. The doctor told her she had four months to live. She had beaten cancer twice, suffered through radiation and chemotherapy. Now it was back again, growing silently and painfully in her lower abdomen. Another round of chemo could extend her life, maybe as much as ten extra months. Instead of fighting the disease a third time, she chooses quality of life over quantity. Her husband and son quit their jobs to take her on a final bucket tour.
