Being Bolan

When Keith, a former guitarist, feels pressured into reforming his old band for a 70s rock tribute competition in memory of his best friend and lead vocalist, Daniel, his mental health unravels. Keith blames himself for his bands demise and to make amends, he must persuade Finn, a talented but troubled eighteen-year-old, to fill Daniels shoes. Finn, having wowed Keith on karaoke, lost his mam when he was nine years old. His best friend is on life support; he has a poor relationship with his dad; he loses his job, and hes about to lose his home. If hes to turn his life around, Finn must impersonate Daniels hero, Marc Bolan, and become part of a T. Rex tribute band. Can Keith overcome his grief by remembering who he once was?
