The Netherlands: a country with a unique geographical character due to the wonderful balance between land and water. Where else in the world can you ride your bicycle from a busy centre to a landscape fit for a Vermeer painting in less than 15 minutes? Or to the big rivers, the old fortified cities, the water works? For this surprisingly diverse photography book photographer Ewout Huibers has crossed the country over the course of a year.
