In this adventurous tale, Ben the Bear is trying to enjoy a peaceful morning in his cosy cave when he is disturbed by the noisy squirrels squeaking and chatting outside. Annoyed, Ben comes out and tells them to be quiet, but when they don't stop, he throws his favourite pillow at them to chase them away. The squirrels get upset and take the pillow, teasing Ben. To get it back, Ben promises to help them collect acorns, berries, and nuts for the winter. The squirrels agree, and Ben goes back to sleep. After a while, the squirrels try to wake Ben, but he ignores them and walks away to find food. He comes across a beehive and tries to take some honey, but the bees chase him off. Ben jumps into a river to escape them and rests under a tree once the bees leave. The squirrels find him again, pestering him until he finally agrees to help them collect food.Once the squirrels have enough food, they leave Ben alone. Still hungry, Ben tries to find food at a camper in the forest, but when he hears someone coming, he gets scared and runs off. Feeling sad and hungry, Ben returns to his cave, only to find it filled with honey, nuts, and berries, thanks to the squirrels' kindness. Ben eats his fill and falls asleep, grateful that he won't go hungry in the winter. Thanks to his squeaky neighbours, the squirrels, Ben learns that "one good deed deserves another."
