Sometimes love comes when you least expect it and other times, it blindsides your SUV.

Sam has one thing on his mind- coaching Division II football. What he doesn't have on his mind is the cute, klutzy blonde that backed into his SUV this morning. He's finally on his own after being a parent to his sister for the last four years. With freedom in sight, he's not going to tie himself down.

Kat's second year teaching at Frazier College isn't starting well when a late-night binge read causes her to not watch what she's doing. She's mortified that she backed into the new football coach's SUV but his lousy attitude was uncalled for. If he ruins watching her favorite sport football for her, he might need to find another state to call home.

When Sam is attacked, they must face that despite their best efforts- they've grown closer than just friends. Will Sam and Kat be able to figure out who wants to keep them apart before the unthinkable happens? Everyone deserves their happily ever after, but will they survive to have theirs?
