Beyond the Rivers, Across the Seas can stand on the category of books like Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist and Nicolas Sparks' The Notebook, but it offers more, in so far as for the first book by the Brazilian writer the reader follows the trip of a young shepherd in quest of a treasure, in the desert region comprised between Andalusia, Spain, Tangier, Algeria, and the Pyramids of Egypt.
