The purpose of writing this book is to make people aware of India's scientific heritage. Science and Spirituality is complementary in Hinduism and was born out of the free thoughts of our thinkers. Maharshri Brigu, Bharadwaj and Kanad laid the foundation of ancient science which is embedded in Vedas and Upanishad. . The invaluable contributions of sage Dhanwantri, Shushrut and Charak in medicine are outlined in easy to understand story. The scientific discoveries of Shri Nagarjuna, Varahamihira and Aryabhata laid the firm foundation of Indian Mathematics and Algebra in Ancient India.

The invasion of Muslims in the middle ages hindered the development of the Indian scientific tradition but Arabic and Persian translations of ancient Indian science texts contributed to reach of Indian scientific tradition far and anew.

English rule was established after Mughals and a new consciousness and resurgence in Indian science was tempered with western values. India is now free and our scientists are taking the giant leap in the best traditions of unbounded thoughts.
