Bilby & The Beet. A Journey from Uluru to Timbuktu, is about discovering invaluable treasures in our lives. It starts with a bored Australian creature, a little Bilby, living an ordinary life in the Australian dessert in Uluru. After a Magpie appears, Bilby is ready to start her adventure searching for the glorious golden beet. She travels the globe to find the treasure that will change her life forever, encountering many challenges on her way.

Bilby learns about herself throughout her journey, and she realises what really matters in life. 

Bilby & The Beet. A Journey from Uluru to Timbuktu, is the first book written by Erika Visser, with incredibly charming illustrations created by Felicia Chin De Smet. Her illustrations is an extension of her kind and compassionate spirit and speaks to the heart. Bilby's adventures not only teaches kids about values, but also about beautiful destinations around the globe, culture and beautiful art. It is a colourful book created as a love project by two special friends, taking on this journey together.
