Black Land

Caitlin Crow is a teenager stuck in her hometown of Luxor, Mississippi, the armpit of the world (as she calls it) and she wants out.

Convinced that her problem is that she doesn't understand the people in her community, she became a journalist for her school blog where she asks the questions she hopes will help her understand the world, because it can't be as bad as it appears.

Her worlds is forever altered when she covers a touring Egyptian exhibit at the local museum.  Between the mummy, the mean girls, and the murder, she has a lot to figure out. 

As Caitlin gets closer to the truth about what happened at the museum she uncovers an unbelievable truth about her town.
