Blue in Grey

Blue in Grey is a prequel to Spring Buds, Sylvia Parrow's debut novel. It is also set in Paris, a couple of years earlier when Matt is about to marry Bérengère and learning to navigate his new provincial environment. Meanwhile, his best friend Anne, another American, expat, is coping with her own personal crisis as the novel she had been toiling over for months has suddenly vanished from her computer. Unsure how to react to this challenging setback, she realizes there is definitely one question she can't evade anymore: isn't it time to go back to the States?
