Blue Thunder Woman

Smudging is special because it uses sacred herbs like sage, sweetgrass, and cedar to cleanse the body, mind, and spirit. She shows Blue Thunder how to use the herbs and harness the power and peace the smudge gives. Blue Thunder finds that she can ask for strength, and connect with her ancestors by smudging. She knows that carrying on with this ceremony will help her stay grounded and rooted in her Cree traditions.
