Branches of Deception

Robert Rhodes and his longtime friend decide to take a trip to attend their high school reunion in Arizona. Their route will cross the southern portion of California's Mojave Desert. What could possibly go wrong? Situations determine that they rent separate vehicles and, with plans to meet at the reunion, they innocently set off. Sinister forces are against them from the very beginning and the pair is drawn into an ever tightening evil web of conspiracy, deception and deceit. The California desert creates a background that not only draws these friends deep into its mystery, but with deadly effectiveness covers both their tracks and escaping screams. Will Robert reveal the deserts secrets in time to save them from the fate that has silenced so many? Or will their inaudible screams and cries for help reflect those of the legions that have traveled the lonely highway before?
