An old friend shows up at Declan Wyler's door with a job offer that promises a quick payday. The job: train a few dogs to be part of a wealthy land developer's security team. In need of cash and owing his friend a favor, Wyler and Blackjack set off for Las Vegas. But things aren't what they appear to be in Sin City. And shortly into the job, Wyler uncovers a secret that leaves him fighting to survive more than just the desert heat.
