Breaking Limitations Finding Freedom

To God, nothing is more natural than the supernatural. No matter how we read the Holy Scriptures, it is impossible to interpret them without seeing the supernatural at work. As a matter of fact, authentic Christianity cannot exist without the supernatural-that is, knowing the Holy Spirit is God in action. To God, nothing is more natural than the supernatural. The Holy Spirit is God in action! In our state-of-the-art world, the unfathomable breakthroughs that everybody wants to see and experience are not happening consistently, mainly in the Western hemisphere. The apostles needed the Holy Spirit to bring lasting transformation to people's lives-and so do we. Jesus says in John's Gospel: And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor-Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever-the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive [and take to its heart] because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He (the Holy Spirit) remains with you continually and will be in you (John 14:16-17 AMP). Metaphorically speaking, faith in the Church has been brutally tossed on the open seas in recent times. Because of the violent storms and cyclones encountered, our visibility has been significantly impaired, caught off guard to a decidedly more secular society that is less tolerant of embracing or following Christian values. Consequently, we have struggled to face head-on or tackle without risking the onslaught against our beliefs. This does not mean nothing was done to fight back the tide of contemporary society-but as a result of its force, many of the churches' precious cargo and valuables taken for granted far too long, at that moment, had to be thrown overboard. A case in point is the eradication of prayer in public schools, changes to Sunday trading laws affecting millions of Christians from attending worship, the redefinition of traditional marriage, and censoring Christian teaching-classified as "hate speech" by social media giants such as YouTube and others. James Aladiran, founder and director of Prayer Storm, says of the churches today, "Churches are nurseries where babies are being fed as opposed to barracks where warriors have been bred." As we've drifted on the ocean for many days in a dangerous predicament, mercifully, we sensed land was near, having observed changes in the wave's motion.
