Breathe is for anyone experiencing any level of grief, anxiety, bereavement, regret, sorrow, disappointment, or depression. Through true stories and biblical principles, and clinical pastoral techniques, the reader will identify with spiritual pain's normalcy. Spiritual pain encompasses distress that is mental, emotional, and psychological pain such as regret, guilt, and heartache. As the steps in this volume are practiced repeatedly, and as needed, the reader will learn to demonstrate self-care and self-comfort. They will also learn how to manage spiritual pain by developing safe grieving practices. It will guide the reader to pare the pain with cathartic non-pharmacological methodologies for the relief and comfort that proved beneficial to the thousands of families and patients this writer has supported. Everyone experiences at some level and grief regularly. This volume will supply the user with coping mechanisms and strategies. Additionally, it will assist them in dismissing unforgiveness and guilt. They will also learn of the body's innate survival structures that are as powerful and comforting as medicine. Breathe will be useful for grief spanning from minor levels of irritation to crisis and trauma. For convenience, 'Breathe' is set as a workbook and journal in one volume. This is an excellent tool for grief and bereavement support groups, church and community grief support groups and guide pastoral leaders on walking with persons in grief. The content of this book was largely compiled in an action research project. Outcomes and cycles of this research were also the content of my doctoral dissertation. Peer-reviewed and scholarly reviewed, this piece has brought innovative change to the professional Chaplaincy support I provided in the capacity of, Police Chaplain, hospital Chaplain, and hospice Chaplain. I now wish to extend this information to the public in this seemingly endless age of global despair.Breathe is not suggested or advised to substitute physicians or psychologists' and psychiatrists' professional help. It is an aid that offers additional steps toward comfort and initial steps to those in immediate need of consolation.
