Brenda Lee & Harley

Saint Bernards have a legacy of greatness. When Brenda Lee and Harley met they had no idea they would become living proof of it. They did know they were destined to be together.

When Harley moved in with Brenda Lee and her family she was already an accomplished therapy dog, and soon Harley was following in her footsteps. Together they learned about love and loyalty, caring and compassion and courage. All traits of the great Saints who had come before.

They came to believe that together they could conquer the world and they nearly did.  A desperate rescue in a raging blizzard proved their mettle. They found a new home with those they had rescued and even began a family.

Alas, there was another lesson to be learned and it was heart wrenching. The pain of loss and the sorrow that comes with it.

It wasn't the end of their epic story, however, merely the beginning.
