Mad Maxx has learned a lot about survival, the human heart and sacrifice throughout his turbulent childhood. The one thing he has come to understand is when he fails to master his brutal life lessons, he will have to pay with his flesh and blood. His painful experiences have taught him that trust carries a price tag he simply cannot afford to pay. Paranoia rules his world and rightfully so.

Agony, defeat, and death lurk around every corner waiting to swallow him up. His plight has become a nightmare worse than the one he already has endured. Left without choices, he must depend on the only person he can be sure is looking out for his own best interest; himself. Trouble is, there is more than one of him.

He has been so distracted avoiding the traps set for him by the unscrupulous in the House in his race for the finish line. He has forgotten the most dangerous foe anyone can face, is always the one that gazes back from the mirror.

Mad Maxx has been held prisoner for most of his childhood. Abused in every way, neglected and unable to escape, he has survived any way he could. As the light at the end of his tunnel grows brighter, he begins to suspect it has blinded him to the harshness of reality.
