Broken Sky

The sky darkened and the bizarre world of the forest floor turned incredibly black. There was an explosive splash of color and the hollow boom denoting another arrival.

This time however, the sounds of the arrival were accompanied by a shattering, woodsplitting noise as trees and brush suddenly appeared in the woods beside the group, taking up the same space as the vegetation that was already there, and shards of wood were blasted in all directions.
