Brood of the Witch-Queen

Robert Cairn is suspicions of Antony Ferrara, the adopted son of an old friend, of infernal magic and supernatural influence. The strange deeds of Antony illustrate certain phases of Sorcery as it was formerly practiced in Ancient Egypt and Europe during the Middle Ages. The strange murder of Sir Michael Ferrara is followed by a horrifying series of events and do not cease until Dr. Bruce Cairn destroys the source of Ferrara's control, the famed Book of Thoth. Now Ferrara is no longer able to control the elemental he has summoned and is found as a burned corpse.
