Kylie Brogan lives to run, but with her mom a raging alcoholic and her dad missing in action, she puts running on hold to take care of her seven year old sister Madelyn along with her older brother, Drew. Depressed and consumed with stress no junior in high school should feel, Kylie lives a monotonous lifestyle, until the star of the varsity track team breaks her leg. With the position on the team offered to her, Kylie is left fighting with herself.
