Bull Run & Beyond

This book examines the American Civil War, from mid-June to mid-September 1861. The story was taken from the writings of a young soldier and his life at the time. Each chapter is about a different occurrence during this period of the war, and an entity unto itself. Reading this work makes you feel you were back at the time of place of the Civil War and its events. What better way is there to study the war than to feel the experiences through the eyes of this soldier.
