Buried in the Dark

Born into a poverty-stricken household, fate threw the young Chizoba into a path she wouldn't have considered treading if given an option. And the more she fought to escape the clutches of poverty, the more she found herself sinking deeper into it. It was as if misfortunes were trailing her every step. The unrelenting embers of a tumultuous society complicated her life's journey that no matter how hard she fought to live a normal life, things kept spiraling out of control.
