In the summer months, T.J. and his mother June travel into the breathtaking world of redwood trees to camp on their friend Kevin's land. Escaping the hustle and bustle of the modern world, the two spend their days fishing, hiking, and enjoying the wonders of Mother Nature. In the evenings, they sit by the fire and roast hot dogs and s'mores, wondering how life could get any better...Based on the author's own camping trips with her son, Camping in the Wild is a love letter to the great outdoors and spending time with family.

About the Author

As a young child, Joan M. Holly spent a lot of time in the woods. Her love of the natural world has never left her, and it continues to inspire her to this day. Joan spends her free time caring for her garden in her home in Santa Rosa, California.
