Cardboard City

Cardboard City recounts the authors experiences from living homeless for a week on the streets of San Francisco in the early 2000's. His first-hand account of life, living rough and penniless and having to beg for food, money and places to shelter, are captured in-depth, as he walks his way around a city where the homeless situation is seemingly out of control and bordering on pandemic status. Alan's trials and tribulations from that week, will have the reader captivated from beginning to end. This, for him, was a once in a lifetime experience that should never be repeated by any human being and it brings to light in very dramatic fashion, just how serious and out of control the homeless situation in the United States has become. All proceeds from this book will be donated to charities that actively support a solution to homelessness around the globe.
