Carnton Plantation Ghost Stories

Used as a Confederate field hospital during the Battle of Franklin in the fall of 1864, Carnton Plantation played a vital role in America's Civil War. Nearly 2,000 Confederate soldiers died in and around the home. The result is that today Carnton is not only one of the nation's most important historic homes, it is also Tennessee's most haunted Civil War house.
