Cassie's Big Change How COVID-19 Changed The Way We Learn

Cassie' Big Change is a story about a girl who describes her journey of school during COVID-19. She feels sad and lonely as she cannot interact with her friends and family outside of the internet. Her teacher recognizes the feeling she is experiencing as well as her classmates. The teacher, Ms. Garrett arranges time to discuss their feelings. She also organizes lunch and a party so the students can have fun and be with each other virtually. This story is written from the perspective of Cassie.

In Cassie's Big Change, Cassie's school year started out as normal until one day everything changed. All of a sudden, everyone was talking about something new called COVID-19 and Cassie had so many questions. 

What is coronavirus? What is a vaccine? What will happen to my family? 

By acknowledging the feelings many children may have in the midst of changes in the school due to COVID-19, this book promotes hope, courage, and support for Cassie and her classmates.
