Castles in the Sand is a romantic fiction story that takes place in the vacation location of Virginia Beach, Virginia. This is a glimpse into the life of two Navy sailors who serve on one of the many US Navy ships based in the area. A young woman from Ohio, while visiting her brother on his ship meets a handsome Naval Officer. The strong attraction they have for each other is tested not only by the restrictions and protocol of Navy life but also by the differences of their lifestyles and cultures.
