i read somewhere once that if the sun ever stopped shining its rays, it would take eight and a half minutes for us to notice here on earth. it took me less than that to notice you were gone. if the sun was to go out, we think we'd only miss the light, the heat, the incredible warmth - but how long until we notice that we've been knocked completely out of orbit?
