Challenging the More Able Language User

This text aims to help teachers recognize and support children who show advanced skills in reading and writing; explore effective ways in which these pupils can be assisted to develop linguistically; and prepare for planning appropriately differentiated activities. These measures are designed to contribute to the raising of standards in English in all pupils while ensuring that more-able pupils achieve their full potential.
