Chance Encounters

A chance encounter can change your life; you may find family and friends... or you may find terror and insanity. There are no accidental meetings between two souls, even when one of those souls is black and evil.

A Native American wife and mother in New Mexico, an abused and troubled teenage girl in Oklahoma, the daughter of a wealthy Texas Oil man, and a roving, psychotic, monstrous madman... what do these people have in common... nothing except chance encounters.  When the lives of these four people continue to collide over the years until it explodes in unimaginable violence you will be surprised at the lengths seemingly ordinary people will go to get what they want and fight for those they love... and what a madman with no moral compass and no mercy will do to achieve what he believes is his destiny.
This is a story of horrific suffering, the sad consequences of child abuse, the incredible endurance of the human spirit, the beautiful relationships that can come from genuinely opening your heart to others, and self sacrifice in the face of death.
Sometimes a chance encounter can lead to a terrifying experience and sometimes it can bring you to the people that become the family you choose instead of the family you were born into.
