The History of Endrta Awraja, where the Qdamay (First) Woyan Rebellion of 1943 was originated in Tigray, remained understudied for longer time. Now, this book appears to be a blue print by throwing light on the comprehensive history of the area. This book mainly deals with the political, administrative, economic, taxation, land tenure system and social infrastructural history of the area during the Imperial Regime (1941-1974). The causes, course and effects of the Qdamay Woyan Rebellion of 1943 are discussed in detail. The post-Qdamay Woyan Rebellion political developments of the area are also considered.
