Can a heart transplant victim inherit the characteristics of their donor? Simon Winter is a prime candidate for a heart attack. Middle aged, sedentary, and grossly overweight. His life style is driving him to an early grave but he is ignoring all the signs until it becomes too late. He has a failed marriage behind him, a boring job and a fear of violence and blood. He has lived a safe and uneventful life avoiding confrontation and danger until now where this is all about to change dramatically. Eddie Prince is an ex- professional boxer and minor television celebrity. He has had a turbulent life in and out of the ring which has resulted in prison time. Fortune has come and gone as he has a gambling addiction which results in him owing a lot of money to some bad people. He has run away to what he hopes is a better life but his old life is about to catch up with him, resulting in dire circumstances.
