Charles Eliot Norton

This volume contains two addresses given in memory of Charles Eliot Norton, a prominent American scholar and professor of art history. The first is by his former student Edward Waldo Emerson, while the second is by his colleague William Fenwick Harris. Together, they provide a vivid portrait of a towering intellectual figure of the late 19th century.
