Chasing the Storm

Charli never expected a tornado to rip through the hotel she and her parents stayed at. Especially not in Australia. Since the incident, just the sound of thunder alone makes her think of that day. It's changed not only her life but also her parents.

Years later, Charli is still battling her fear of storms. Her mother is now a meteorologist, and when she visits her in the US, the last thing Charli wants is to storm chase. But according to Blake, her mother's colleague, facing her phobia could help with her fear. Facing her fear wasn't an easy thing, but Charli has to somehow conquer it or she could put the team in danger.

As Charli joins in on the chases, she discovers things about her mother that she never knew. She even hopes to mend their broken relationship. That's until she discovers one secret.

And then an EF5 rips through her mother's town the night before Charli threatens to leave. Her mother is missing and Charli blames herself. Will Charli be able to find her mother in time? Or will she regret the things she had said before she can repair her relationship with her mother?
